EDILE spreads its wings

The EDILE initiative, which promotes the inclusive development of local economies by improving the assessment of investment projects, is growing and exp anding internationally.

In partnership with OCEMO and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, ANIMA presented the EDILE label on 20 April 2016 as part of the Libnor Forum. “Working with Libnor aims to give us an international and Mediterranean perspective and allowed us to address the role of international companies in emerging markets with regard to CSR,” explains Emmanuel Noutary, General Delegate of ANIMA. ANIMA also ran a round table on “New frontiers in CSR performance and inclusive investment”. During this panel discussion after the plenary session, ANIMA looked at market opportunities, sector trends and presented information and tools for identifying reliable partners for improving competitiveness.

On 28 April 2016, ANIMA is also organising a conference in Tunisia. This conference will serve to present the results of the EDILE project, launch the EDILE label partnership in Tunisia and inaugurate the EDILE Club of companies committed to maximising local impacts of investment projects around the Mediterranean.
