Arab Economists Circle

The Arab Economists Circle is a think tank that was created in April 2009 in Paris. Its purpose is to stimulate dialogue and meetings relating to financial and economic issues facing Arab countries, and to initiate research work. The Circle brings together people from a range of fields: economists, university professors, CEOs, financial journalists and senior managers from the private sector and international and public bodies.

Subjects treated by the Arab Economists Circle primarily involve economic policies (growth factors, industrial and energy policies), social policies (employment, the informal sector, health and retirement systems), financial and monetary policies, etc. In addition to regular meetings of its members, the Circle organizes various events and has a voice in the media and specialized publications.
